VESSEL DESCRIPTION
The motor vessel “Auroralyn” is an Alaskan-built, aluminum 25’ pleasure craft with a manual-released 28” bow ramp at vessel centerline. The ramp is designed for offloading passengers and equipment to shore. The forward and aft decks are self bailing. Outboard of the ramp are two aluminum storage lockers built to bulwark level on port and starboard sides and are used for anchor storage. The forward work deck is open and has an oval Freeman hatch to access under deck storage. This void is drained manually by portable Rule pump. There is a bow roller that serves the purpose of pulling in subsistence lines and makes easy work of hauling the anchor.

Next aft is an enclosed aluminum cabin with eight AJR windows that offer outstanding visibility in all directions.
Lockable AJR hinged water-tight aluminum door forward, and lockable sliding door to aft work deck. The boat comfortably seats 6-7 in the cabin. The cabin is cozy given its Espar heater, and aluminum framing is finished with carpet on walls to prevent “sweating.” The cabin is aesthetically pleasing given the tongue and groove cedar ceiling. Rubber mats cover and cushion the floor. To forward starboard of cabin is the helms station with controls, electronics, and 12v breaker panel. At the helm there is a bench seat that can be swung to a secured down position so that there is comfortable space to stand while driving. Aft of helms station is a bench seat for 2 passengers, as well as another aluminum bench seat along port side wall for 3 passengers. Given 2 bench seats and port and starboard standing the boat can comfortably hold 7 people . An insert can be placed between the seats to create a large bunk that sleeps 2. 2 others can sleep below this bunk. Our family of 4 can sleep on the boat with our dog. Access to under cabin sole is through a plastic inspection hatch and drained manually by portable Rule pump. The roof of the cabin has 2 aluminum racks to stoutly secure dingy, kayaks, etc and is a pleasant place to sit comfortably with coffee and admire the beauty of your anchorage.

Aft of cabin is aft work deck that is approximately 30” x 90” and accessed by sliding door. There are LED lights to illuminate fore and aft decks. Aft of aft work deck is self-draining engine well with two Honda 115 HP outboards.
