My personal experience was good in my freshman year. Celebrating I love my Science and math class. My teachers were very nice and very informative. I also took some dual credit College classes. My professors were very helpful and encouraging. School, however is the only high school in my town, So one of the things is that for lunch there’s hardly any place to sit because of overcrowding. Overall, I have a very good experience for my freshman year and look forward to my sophom*ore year.

Alvin high school is not the worst school to be at, though it is far from the best. We have a better teacher retention rate than many school around us due the higher wages they receive, though the teacher to student ratio remains high. The school food is mediocre at best at all times. The sports programs are generally not great, with the exception of baseball and women's powerlifting. The counselors do not have much time for students, as I believe there are not nearly enough of them. There are a significant amount of fights on campus, although they mostly stay contained to two people. The campus has multiple buildings and therefore can feel unsafe at times, although there are gates around the school and all doors remain locked at all times. The admin consistently fails to contain student behavior and help struggling teachers, and the school budget is wildly mismanaged, as many admin have personal golf carts to get across campus faster, although several buildings falling apart.

Administrations needs to stop being so constricting on the student council as they created good idea for school pride, however the administrators always suppress it.
