PEACE OUT ✌️ Today I anchored my last newscast at KEYT. I want to thank the viewers and this community for supporting me for the last 12 years!! It made me happy when people would stop me on the street and say, “I watch you every morning!” I hope I made you smile, think and kept you informed.

Yes, Emily Holwick is leaving KMBC. She made the announcement on February 1, 2023, by making posts on her social media handles. Since November 2015, she has been associated with the station and has held multiple roles. Holwick came to the station as a weekend anchor and reporter.

She is married and has two children.
