Manny’s family will lay him to rest privately near his father, Ralph B. Marquez at Memory Lane Cemetery in Silver City, New Mexico.

Manny was born on September 23, 1963 in Silver City, New Mexico to Ralph B. Marquez and Ermina “Minnie” Dominguez Marquez.

Manny was known for being the go-to guy for Auto-sales. He was successful in Las Cruces, Deming and in Silver City and brought his customers with him to whichever dealership he worked. You knew you would get a great deal with him. Manny was also a big sports fan. He enjoyed all sports but his favorites were football and wrestling. He was known as “The Stat Man” on the radio and enjoyed being able to contribute to the community by announcing the games for the schools in Grant County. Grant County was his home. He loved taking long drives around the loop in the Gila Mountains. He always enjoyed going out to the lakes of Bear Canyon, Lake Roberts and Bill Evans to fish and drink his “Yellow Belly’s”. He loved the outdoors and planned to travel with his cousins, Michael Garcia and Pat Puentes, to hunt and fish their way through retirement.

He is survived by his mother, Ermina “Minnie” Marquez of New Mexico; his wife, Cynthia Marquez “Soria” of Texas; his sons, Stephen James Marquez with Grand-dog, Baloo, of Texas and Timothy Andrew Marquez of New Mexico; two brothers, Ralph D. (Nancy) Marquez, their three children and George (Sonia) Marquez and their six children, all of New Mexico; two sisters, Bernadette Marquez, Christina Marquez Peña and her three children, all of New Mexico.

Manny is preceded in death his grandparents, Manuel and Sally Marquez and George and Juanita Dominguez; his father, Ralph B. Marquez; and one brother, Ralph “Baby” Marquez.
