WoW SoD Ret Paladin Talents & Runes

Choose the following talents and runes as a Ret Paladin for the Phase 3 raid Sunken Temple at level 50:

Ret Paladin Rotation

The rotation as a Ret Paladin in WoW SoD consists of the following priority list:

1. Keep Seal of Martyrdom up.
2. Cast Hammer of Wrath whenever it’s available (execute phase).
3. Cast Exorcism whenever it’s available.
4. Cast Crusader Strike whenever it’s available.
5. Cast Judgement whenever it’s available. Recast Seal of Martyrdom after Judgement.
6. Cast Consecration when it’s available.

Currently, most of your rotation is just casting Exorcism whenever it’s available. The other spells are filler for times when Exorcism isn’t ready.

Ret Paladin Raid Consumables

The following list of consumables can be used by Ret Paladins in Sunken Temple:

• Elixir of Giants
• Elixir of the Mongoose / Elixir of Greater Agility
• Winterfall Firewater
• Grilled Squid
• Dense Sharpening Stone / Shadow Oil
• Dragonbreath Chili
• Superior Mana Potion
• Atal'ai Mojo of War

Don’t use Dense Sharpening Stone, or Shadow Oil on your weapon, if you have Wild Strikes in your party.

While Major Mana Potion is the best mana potion available in Phase 3, Superior Mana Potion or even Greater Mana Potion should be sufficient.

To get Atal'ai Mojo of War you need to get one Flask of Atal'ai Mojo from Sunken Temple. Head over to Stranglethorn Vale at 15.2 15.6 to buy Atal'ai Mojo of War.

Ret Paladin Stat Priority

As a Ret Paladin you want to prioritize gear with the following stats:

1. Hit Chance (up to 6% against enemies 2 levels above you like raid bosses in Level Up Raids)
2. Crit Chance
3. Strength
4. Agility
5. Attack Power

Everything above the 6% hit chance increase has no additional effect when fighting against bosses in Level Up Raids.
