WoW SoD Shockadin Talents & Runes

With the new runes in Phase 2, Shockadin might become viable. Shockadin is a Tank Paladin spec that integrates more spell damage than a Ret tank does. These are the best talents and runes for a Shockadin in Gnomeregan:

Prot Paladin Rotation

The rotation as a Prot Paladin in WoW SoD consists of the following priority list:

1. Keep Seal of Martyrdom up.
2. Cast Exorcism whenever it’s available.
3. Cast Hammer of the Righteous whenever it’s available.
4. Cast Consecration whenever it’s available.
5. Use Judgement when it’s ready.

If you run into mana problems, use Judgement less.

Protection Paladin Stat Priority

As a Protection Paladin you want to prioritize gear with the following stats:

1. Hit Chance (hit cap is 6% against enemies 2 levels above you, like all bosses in Level-Up Raids)
2. Crit Chance
3. Strength
4. Agility
5. Attack Power

If you have more than a +6 % hit chance against bosses in Level-Up Raids, the stat is wasted.
